2025.07.31: Will came out and installed a condensor part and did an outstanding job with a gosh darn smile on his face. He loves his job and it shows. Refreshing to find an honest and reputable company in an industry where that is not the norm. From the initial contact, they were courteous and professional. Next day service call resulted in a fair quote for only the work needed without any high pressure upsell tactics. New evaporator coils needed in both attic units as I suspected. Since it was Friday afternoon we were unable to get the coils until Monday but they charged the system to keep me cool until then. At install they captured the coolant to recharge without having to pay twice for it. A day of hard work in a hot attic by Nick's two sons and we are back in business. Great job and right on the quote. I would gladly recommend Prestige Air to all.

"Let me just start off by saying this review may end up more like a story than a short 5 star review ... I recently moved to Texas (I was used to much more of a dry heat than humid). I bought a place in Fort Worth and had a home warranty through Fidelity. I had my AC unit moved by a company called Comfort Pros (it was located directly behind my house and I wanted it moved to the side) about a month after living here. Shortly after moving it, my AC stopped working. I contacted the same company who moved it twice and on both occasions I had a different issue with my AC unit. Mind you, my unit is older (2007), however I was never informed that moving my unit would cause any problems or even could. I paid that company for fixing the “issues” they thought it was. I paid that company $1400 to move a 17 year-old unit, which they later told me I would have to get a new unit soon due to its age and the parts starting to just not work. Why did that company not tell me that before they moved the unit? I think because they were clearly trying to just make more money off of me. After having a negative experience with that company, I decided to go through my home warranty company, Fidelity National. I understand all home warranty companies take time, but the lack of care or consideration of me living in a house that was 88 degrees and even 90 at times was saddening and very maddening. I was told I needed the generator for the fan or something of that sort and had to wait two days before it was installed in total. I was living in 88° weather inside my house for six days and no one seemed to care, that is until I contacted Nicholas. I was contacting the owner of Prestige Air in regards to my situation. I told him I was trying to go through my home warranty company that way I didn’t have to pay all the money, and he literally was helping me, giving me advice. He was not doing that for me to use his company, but out of the kindness of his heart. After my warranty company sent their AC technician out with the replacement motor and my AC still going out an hour after, I called Nicholas. Someone came out within the hour and told me my unit is old and it’s just stopping periodically. When I called the company that was dispatched from Fidelity to let them know that my air was not coming out cold they told me to wait 24 hours and it will be fine. If I would have waited 24 hours, it would have been at least 95° in my house. I was brushed off and was treated like I was being dramatic. When I told Nicholas how I was feeling and my concerns, I genuinely felt his concern and his desire to help me. I told Nicholas I cannot wait for my home warranty company any longer and that I was literally miserable and I didn’t care about paying anymore at that point. I asked him today, on a Friday and told him I would like for him to put in a new unit as soon as possible as my AC is already going in and out. To say he is going above and beyond doesn’t do him justice. The owner of the company is waking up at wee hours of the morning to go get my unit for me to have it installed. He hasn’t even installed my unit yet (I will give another review once it is in) yet, I already feel more comfort and care than both of the other companies who have come to my house to “try” to fix the problem. It is very rare to find someone who genuinely cares and Nicholas and his team do just that. I am looking forward to my installation tomorrow and will give an update after. I generally don’t write reviews of this magnitude, but that is how impressed I am and how much it meant to me to see that someone actually cares. To see someone put in some extra effort to help! I am sure I will never be using another air conditioning company in the DFW area again. Thank you very much, Nicholas. You are truly incredible."
